CA-EDRS The California Electronic Death Registration System (CA-EDRS), a fully electronic death registration system currently in use in California. Includes novel methodologies for remote 'signature' by voice and/or fax.

CODA Cause of Death Analyzer is a software tool that extracts medical concepts from death certificate cause of death phrases. The system uses the UMLS MetaMap tool developed by the National Library of Medicine.
caMATCH A collaboration between UCSF and the National Cancer Insitution to develop and deploy a patient-to-trial matching system in the domain of breast cancer.
Characterizing scientific networks within academic communities This project entails using social network analysis methods and tools to study the formation and evolution of networks formed by collaborations among scientists.
